Modern Studio with Kitchen in Prime Location

The accommodation team was very unfriendly. They couldn't help us with any of our questions. And they didn't want to. Apparently, the landlord's contacts are a bot and it's not a living person who answers. The apartment was rented out in a building that was undergoing major roof repairs. The landlord knew about it (such things are always announced in advance) but continued renting out the apartment and didn't warn us about it. We woke up at 8am from loud construction noise - repair work had begun. This work was carried out right above our heads - the apartment is on the top floor and the scaffolding was placed right next to our window. We were after the road and very tired and could not rest in such noise. Construction work went on all day. When we asked the landlord to resolve the situation, they replied that they could not help us in any way. very unscrupulous hotelier. We lived on the 4th floor and the elevator does not go to it. It is very inconvenient and heavy with luggage. The elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.

The location is perfect, very close to Merl Park, a public parking and just a few minutes walking to the city centre; the bed was comfortable and the place has plenty of natural light and amenities.

Unfortunately, the studio is bad maintained, had a weird smell when I got inside, the sofa was full of stains, and I had the unpleasant experience to find it dirty, there was dust on the furniture, bed frame, room corners and the cleaning team completely skipped the bathroom - there is a constant moldy smell, the shower was full of limescale, the mirror was dirty and the toilet had obvious signs that someone used before. And yes, Arca Team, I could have written to you and the cleaning team would come and make a superficial cleaning as usually, but I was tired after a long flight and I didn’t wanted to stay outside and wait. The proper cleaning should have been made before the guest arrives.

The property was a decent stay from the center (about 20 minutes by public transport which is free in all of Luxembourg) or a 25-30 minute walk - we walked and it was nice and easy. It was high up so the views were nice and the apartment itself was warm and cozy and had enough space for two people. Would stay again if returning to Luxembourg. It was worth staying here to avoid the extremely high hotel costs in the center.

Everything was great - no issues; the hallway did smell a bit smokey, but I think that was the neighbors place just lingering into the hallway.

We liked the layout and style of the place and that it was nice and clean.

Mainly that there were no basics in the cuboard such as oil and that you were expected to take the rubbish out at the end. Some of the inteuctions provided were also in accurate.

Nice spaceous place, beautiful view to the rooftops of Luxembourg, responsive host.

Street construction next to the entrance

The location is perfect. Close to both the city center and Merl Park. The apartment has everything you may need and is quite modern. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy. The neighborhood is residential and quiet.

We didn't have wifi for the entire stay. There was an issue with the service provider, which didn't get resolved due to weekend/bank holiday. Because of that we could not use the tv either. They do not offer any channels, just apps like Netflix, AppleTv, which don't work without internet. We went to Lux to see friends so this didn't bother us too much .Also, there was a noise coming from the radiator placed in front of the bed, which was a bit annoying. It didn't go on the entire night but it did disturb the tranquillity of our stay. I would suggest to check that out.
