The Barn Yr Ysgubor

Liked the setting, instructions to get there were very clear, accommodation was clean and tidy, hosts super friendly and welcoming.

On a personal level, our doggys are used to fences and boundaries and it was difficult for me to relax as I was unsure how our smaller dog would behave in that open natural setting. It was all explained prior to our visit though but it has shown me that one of our dogs needs more training.

The area is very quiet and calm

This barn conversion is warm, inviting and well looked after. The hosts were friendly and helpful and had provided some basic foods for us. We were able to charge our electric car and the whole stay was simple and welcoming. The local area is lovely to walk in and there was plenty of wood for the wood burning stove in the chillier evenings. Diolch.

The bathroom was the only part of the property that was comparitively not as well finished as the rest of the property in terms of fittings and decor. A few hooks to hang toiletry bags and towells on would be useful but it was perfectly functional for the time that we stayed.

Beautiful idyllic little barn, loved the stove fire and the bed was super comfy! Perfect quiet break away.

If I had to comment something….I think a washing machine instead of a dishwasher would be more practical, didn’t really create enough washing up to warrant using a dishwasher but would have been useful to have something to wash clothes after muddy walks!

Very quiet, wood for the fireplace ready. Great for relaxing.
