New Lisbon Center Apartment

L'appartement est propre, moderne et bien équipé. La literie est de bonne qualité. La localisation est bonne dans un quartier moins touristique et à proximité du métro.

L'isolation est mauvaise : on entend les allées et venues, surtout la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble qui claque et nous réveille le matin. La vingtaine de panneaux d'instruction dans le studio rend le lieu peu chaleureux.

Location

It is not always easy to manage an apartment. Sometimes the previous tenant breaks something, or the traffic is hectic and cleaning staff arrive late. We stepped into the apartment on one of those days. After traveling Europe for a three month period and staying in one apartment after the other, we legitimately raised a few concerns. Despite denying that the kitchen cupboards were dirty, the manager arranged for another cleaning session. By the time the cleaner arrived during the evening, we had done the cleaning ourselves, but she did apologize in writing using a translation app. There are instruction signs everywhere. No place to hang clothes, only one small chest of drawers.

Small studio with everything you need, the aerea is very beautiful, 20 min walk till central aereas, with coffe shops and supermarkets around the corner.

The lift when we finally found it

Vertical stairs and lack of lift notice- 17 A4 laminated watning signs, poorly written wifi password, numerous plug sockets not working, baby next door screaming every morning and at night- TV didn't work- makeshift shower hair catcher meant it didn't drain properly and to prevent flooding had to switch off half way through shower and wait to drain, No plu on bathroom sink so couldn't shave-

The location was great- 10 min walk to the Rato Metro station. Supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops very close too. Very quiet comfortable and clean appartment and the owner was easily contactable when we needed them for advice- an excellent service! Thank you. Not quite enough clothes storage space for a 5 day stay but it was manageable and pillows were quite hard but we got used to them. Plenty of very hot water in a very powerful shower! We would recommend this appartment- great value for money.

The bed, the amenities, quiet ,lift easy access ,if not for lisbon hills

The lights, only two options all on or all off, barely an inconvenience

The apartment is convenient: close to subway station, supermarket, and from a walking distance to restaurants and cafes. It was not noisy, and I could have a proper sleeping night.

It is quite small, so if you want to stay in the apartment for longer periods, it may not be that comfortable. We had an issue with some broken things - lamp beside the bed, toilet sit and shower drain - that were not that convenient.
