Everything was perfect, room and whole Villa was even better then on pictures. Amazing breakfest prepared by owner everyday with view at Funchal.

Absolute gem of a place. Situated about a 20 min walk downhill to sea front and restaurants. Lovely views from terrace over harbour and town. Matheus was a dream host from the start. You could believe you were a guest in his own house. The whole place has been fabulously refurbished to a high standard. Impossible to fault. The main attraction though was breakfast.. Best start to a day ever. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Highly recommended! Stunning quinta, beautifully renovated and decorated with great taste, within a green, quiet 'garden of Eden' in the centre of Funchal. Ultimate hospitality from the owner and his team, super breakfast and a nice view over the city and coast. A feast to stay here in every way, thank you!

Stunning property with beautiful gardens and luxurious rooms. The Luxo Apartment is spacious and well designed with all the amenities needed including a fully equipped kitchen and a utility area for laundry. Mathias, the host, is exceedingly generous and went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Breakfast is a highlight - a huge variety of options freshly delivered to the apartment every morning including daily local delicacies. The two pools, steam room, outdoor gym and hot tub are so enjoyable that it makes it hard to actually leave to explore Madeira!!

Nothing at all - it was perfect

The location was perfect. not too close to the city centre. The villa was outstanding and far better than we expected.. Everything was done to perfection.. Would definitely stay again. SUPERB.

This villa was exceptional, we loved every minute we stayed there. The property has amazing garden where you can enjoy nice pool. The breakfast was excellent, and all the services offered had the well-being of the guests in mind. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed and if we ever go back to Madeira, we will certainly stay there again.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way and is easily one of, if not THE best, place we have ever stayed. The property itself is spectacular, with amazing gardens and breathtaking views. An exceptional breakfast, well-appointed rooms, a fantastic outdoor gym, friendly staff, and outstanding facilities are just some of the positives. Nothing was too much trouble, and our stay from start to finish was faultless.

A 10/10 rating doesn't do this property justice... this serene gem not far from the old town is in a class of its own. It's a credit to the owner who has realized his vision of creating a truly unique sanctuary.
