Hotel Orange inn Kodaikanal

The room looked nice on the photos, we liked the huge window and the hot water. Host was nice , communication a bit difficult cause he didn’t really speak English.

Rooms look good on photos cause they have been renovated recently but there’s still a lot to improve. The washroom has not been renovated as it seems cause it smelled terrible and the ceiling was falling apart. The towels were cheap quality. Couldn’t really see the lake from our window and the property is 30 minutes from the Center with a Road that’s not easy to walk because of a lot of traffic.

When I reached kodaikkanal due to traffic jams, I called them on the phone number booking.com gave me, but they were not answering the phone at the time. Since it was the peak season time, I found it very difficult to get a other room with my family at night.

My stay at the Hotel Orange Inn was exceptional. The lake view and city center access made it ideal for sightseeing trips; everything worth seeing was just around the corner! It's an easy 800 meters to the lake and all the major spots. The supportive staff deserves a special mention for making my stay so comfortable. I was delighted to find wonderfully clean and well-maintained rooms that exceeded my expectations. It was positively a standout experience.
