The Tranquil hotel

My recent trip to Chakrata turned out to be one of the most disappointing travel experiences I've had, and Hotel Tranquil was a major reason for it. The ratings and reviews of this property appear completely disconnected from the reality we experienced. The hotel seemed severely understaffed, with only a handful of people managing the entire property. What was most concerning was the apparent lack of hygiene and proper operational standards. The same staff members appeared to be handling multiple tasks, including cleaning rooms and washrooms as well as preparing and serving food. The food arrangements were inadequate, portions were insufficient, and there seemed to be little planning or organization in place. Service was slow, basic hospitality standards were missing, and the overall management of the property felt chaotic. When travelers visit a peaceful destination like Chakrata, they expect cleanliness, comfort, and decent service. Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Tranquil failed on all three counts. The experience left us frustrated and questioning how the property has managed to receive such positive ratings. I would strongly advise future travelers to do thorough research and not rely solely on online ratings before booking this hotel.

Price are on higher side considering the location and facilities provided

Food was awesome, best tasting as compared to everywhere else. Room size was quite big & comfortable. Staff response in terms of service was quick.

Views for summers is not worth it, as it is at a lower height than where Chakrata is. We didn’t get any bathroom supplies like soaps, shampoo etc. Also no coffee cups, Tea, sugar sachets were present.

Awesome stay, hiegenic and polite behaviour of staffs. Food was also good

Food serving is something which needs improvement. It can be more quicker
