Momiji-an Tofukuji

We really enjoyed the the Momiji-an's House, we got to sleep japanese style beds, the water stream is superior, the heating with AC works great, really quiet and nice neighbourhood and close to the train station. There are very steep stair to the upper part of the house, not enough dinnerware/cookware, and my wife has complained that something has bitten her legs (perhaps some bedbugs), please take care of these issues for the future guests to feel even better at your place

This property was a great halfway point in our trip as it was perfect for getting some washing done and giving us a bit more space to spread out a little. The location is great… very close to transport and restaurants and a convenience store.

If you have any back issues or mobility problems just consider carefully before booking here. The tatami mats (beds) are quite hard if you’re not used to them and there’s no couch or comfortable place to sit. The stairs are also a little steep and narrow for some.

Fabulous location, large bedrooms, nice kitchen and bathroom and everything we needed. Didn't meet any staff but communication was fine through the app.

The kitchen is a little short on supplies (e.g. only 2 glasses for a 5 bed house). The futons were quite thin so beds were not as comfortable as other places we stayed. But adequate, for a few days.
