Service approximatif, personnel gentil et agréable mais sans supervision, extrêmement lent, la chambre n’a pas été nettoyé ni les serviettes changées ou le lit fait alors que nous étions les seul clients les 2 nuits. La situation géographique du « resort » n’est pas très bonne, loin de tout, pas de vue mer ni de montagnes. Endroit bruyant se situant à côté de la « salle des fêtes » du village. Probablement populaire pour la population locale qui aime faire la fête et chanter, en revanche pour des touristes étrangers à la recherche de calme et de repos ce n’est pas l’endroit idéal.

Uncleanliness

The gardens are huge and it’s a great place for taking photos. There is a local store right next door. It’s only a good place for events like birthdays and weddings. Some nice features. Beach is 15 minutes away by tricycle. Have 50 peso ready for environmental fee.

The food menu is limited. The rooms are outdated. The kitchen is far away from the rooms. The pool is skimmed for leaves bugs but the bottom is slimey. The showers are awful. The place is huge yet run by a handful of staff. The water pump gets switched off at night because so many leaks in the vast amount of water connections. The Hobbit cafe is empty. Most guests are put at the front of the hotel “ where work was ongoing “ simply to save electric from the vast amount of lights at the rear scenic part of the property. It’s not a loved environment or property, the theme from Lord of the rings is 25 years old. (Book) The movie 15 years old. A lot of the flowers are artificial I presume to save maintenance. Ants everywhere. The man made rivers and water fountains are empty and switched off. Charge you 4000 peso for private transport from the airport to the hotel. Got two tricycles back costing 1000 to the Davao side of the port. Electric sockets in the ceiling above the shower. TV you could only watch You Tube.

we stayed for 2 nights and we loved every second here. the venue is very nice and family friendly. the room is very clean and spacious. the staff were very friendly and understanding. the place is very peaceful and very safe.

there is no reception but we didn't really mind because they have internet.

The Garden is absolutely stunning. A must see for landscaping.

They run out of beer in the second night. The breakfast was Filipino and cold. No microwave. Then even though they have huge water tanks no water in the morning for shower. And late evening neither.
