Blue Haven Retreat

What I liked the most was the price — it was very reasonable for a 9-day stay. It was good that breakfast was included. The air conditioner and ceiling fan were working well.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach, but when it’s over 30°C and you go back and forth a few times a day, the location doesn’t feel very convenient. We thought it would be a quiet area, which we saw as a plus, but there was a mosque nearby that woke us up very early — keep that in mind when booking. We had a room with a larger window (some rooms have tiny ones), but we had to keep the curtains closed at all times because there was a shared lounge area right in front of the window. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom, so it’s always humid and smells unpleasant.

I had an amazing stay at the Blue Heaven Retreat ! The place is beautiful and peaceful 🌸 The rooms are super comfortable and clean, the team was incredibly kind and always ready to help, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I also loved the delicious Maldivian breakfast, I already miss it ! Thank you for all :)

Everything. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, plug sockets beside the bed, a working fridge, lots of storage, great water pressure in the shower, delicious continental breakfast delivered outside the room; everything was perfect. The communication was also exceptional. Any questions I had, they were sure to answer them through WhatsApp. They also arranged my transport from the harbour point.

Great hospitality and a nice room. The owner helped me to get some cash for my ferry when I had ran out. Highly recommend

It's a really nice place with clean room. Very tasty breakfasts - you can choose local or continental. The staff ask about it everyday. Everyone there is helpful and friendly. You can also rent a bike.

The only disatvantage is that it's a little bit far from the beach (the island isn't big so it's not a problem but if you want to go to beach, come back to take a shower and go again to the restaurant- it will take a while) In the room we also heard prayers from Mosque. It wasn't a problem for us but if you prefer to have a complete silence in the room - take it into account

Comfy bed, great communication by the host, clean room and good breakfast! 2 mins from the ocean and 10 min Walk from bikini beach!

The first room i was given was terrible but the second was much better, it had a window, had a comfy bed, and looked decent. The staff is nice.

I was put in a terrible room the first night, it didn't look like the ones on the photos. It was adjacent to a small kitchen and probably was an old storage room adapted for sleeping. There was a terrible noise at night coming from some machine in the kitchen so i couldn't sleep, the room was dark, windowless, smelled bad and was infested with ants. It was not worth the price i was paying. I demanded a room change in the morning but they said they were fully booked. I checked online and I've seen they have availability. When i said it, they promised they would change the room for me. Overall i was not impressed and it was quite a stressful experience. There wasn't anyone in the house to speak to directly, i had to write via WhatsApp and wait until they answer. I lost the whole morning there waiting for the room change. If you book here, make sure you're not put in that room next to the kitchen. The other room was fine.
