Sunset Beach Hotel

Warm welcome from all the staff, all very helpful. Rooms were really lovely, and felt secluded from each other with landscapes gardens in between.

Probably not the nicest bit of beach in the area.

I loved the location and definitely the staff.

The shower was backing up water, which I reported. The guy said if the plumber is there, he will come if not the following day, but nothing happened, and we didn't report again. The food was ok but not much variety especially didn't like the soft drinks they all tasted like not the real stuff to the point as it tasted water down. Unfortunately, after two nights, my husband experienced diarrhoea, and we didn't eat out before this happened. The hotel I feel needs some love in the form of full refurbishment to bring it into play with this century. For an all-inclusive hotel, the food options should vary more and definitely better quality drinks. The hotel definitely seemed more for mature/older crowd as there were many older couples than ourselves. Lastly, when you are paying for transfer to the airport at €50 you should have a quality vehicle that could take you and your suitcases comfortably. We got a car which held only one suitcase in the boot and the other was on seat then I was squashed with a case which really is unacceptable. When we came in, we had a suv, which is the right vehicle for the price and the amount and size of cases.

- Nice beach - Big rooms - Most of the staff are nice - Breakfast although not very rich but good quality. - The hotel is safe and secured.

- I would have considered staying there again but the police check point just before the hotel is harassing people as they come and go and they can be very annoying and aggressive sometimes. - Very strict on check in and check out rules although the hotel was empty.

Breakfast was very good, hotel is right next to the beach which was great,

Window could not lock in the bathroom, bathroom door did not open fully because of the space/ setup of the room, mosquito net would have helped,
