Bella Casa Siargao

Perfect location at Tuazon with direct access to the beach to go for a surf or just a walk. Harana is directly around the corner, so that sunset cocktail is never far away. The cottages are really nice and provide everything you need, even for a longer stay. Everything was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is amazing and very cute. They take great care of all the guest and the property, tending to the gardens and the houses and making sure everything works fine. If you have any wishes, just tell the amazing caretakers and they will make them come true, ensuring you will have a beautiful time in this accommodation. They were always so friendly and welcoming, giving big smiles and making me feel like I’m at home. Thank you Hazel, Lorna, Dongdong, Jorelyn and everyone else !

The mosquitoes are a problem, but also one that can be solved. I had a lot of trouble with the mosquitoes in the first two nights, but after I closed up the upstairs build-in fan (which I’ve never used anyways) and made sure no mosquitoes could come in through the bathroom by closing up the gap at the bottom of the bathroom door, everything was fine. The rest of my 4 week stay I could spend sleeping in peace. It would still be good for the property to figure out how the mosquitoes are getting into the bathroom and to find a solution for that. WiFi could be better, but worked well enough most of the time, making it able for me to attend video calls. Also a workstation in the room would be nice, with a comfortable chair to sit in. A great perk would be if the cottages already had a surfboard that you could take out or if you could easily rent a surfboard from the property for a fair price.

Wifi was good and a bit of beachfront.

Booking was inaccurate! The pictures did not match reality. There was no electric fan, no office chair, no window-type air conditioner, and no microwave. The bathroom was full of mosquitoes when we arrived. It was dirty and had stagnant water, which was very dangerous. We messaged the number provided in the booking but never received a reply. Even after talking to the caretakers, who did their best, they said the villa was like that when it was turned over to them. It was the worst experience and the worst booking of our lives! It was so bad that we rebooked our flight two days early just to leave the villa and Siargao due to this horrible experience. We forfeited the rest of the days we booked. Never booking here again. For anyone reading this, be very careful if you really want this unit.

Good location. The host was very friendly and helpful if needed some assistance. The peace and tranquility was nice.
