Søre Osen Ørbekken

The host was very sweet and caring. The house and location were good for my two large sled dogs and there were even some toys, a bed, and bowls left for them. It was very conveniently located for a one-night stay in the middle of a long drive. The internet connection worked fine as long as the electricity was on.

It was a very cold weather, and the house was nearly freezing when I arrived (7°C in the bedroom, 12°C in the kitchen...). The electricity was not stable, and the fuse kept blowing. It was not clear from the instructions where to find the fuse box. It was written first floor, so I searched on the first floor and in the basement, but it was actually on the second floor. You could not have the heating on in the living room and you could not boil water in the kettle and have lights on in the kitchen at the same time. The host kindly came and warmed the house with the fireplace and there was plenty of firewood for me to use for the rest of the evening, so the temperature was in the end ok (but of course pretty cool in the morning again). My dogs certainly enjoyed the temperature! There were almost no lights in the living room.
