Il Carretto Taormina Center

Die Lage ist fantastisch, der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat bei Anfragen sofort geantwortet. Das Zimmer bietet alles was man braucht für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Es hat eine kleine Küche und die Betten sind in Ordnung. Klimaanlage funktioniert auch gut.

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem das Bad ist sehr simpel. Die Isolierung ist nicht sehr gut, man hört die Geräusche von draussen deutlich. Die Strasse vor der Unterkunft ist aber glücklicherweise nicht so stark befahren (obwohl Taormina an sich total überlaufen und touristisch ist).

Отличная квартира. Чистая, уютная, есть все необходимое. Кондиционер, утюг, фен, wifi, кухонные и ванные приборы. Атмосферный интерьер в стиле Таормины. С балкона вид на сад. Находится на тихой улице в центре города, рядом со всеми достопримечательностями. Хозяин общительный и приятный. Рекомендую!

Great apartment in the heart of Taormina.

Purtroppo tutto. Il check-in non è stato possibile alle 14:00, siamo riusciti ad entrare alle 15:40 perché la stanza non era ancora pronta. Camera sporca con muffa sul muro dove poggia la testata del letto e ragnatele ovunque . Cosa più grave ,nel bagno CHE È ASSOLUTAMENTE DIVERSO DALLE FOTO DI BOOKING (vedete nostre foto) non c'è il microfono della doccia ma uno spara acqua SUDICIO da INDAGINE DA UFFICIO IGIENE pieno di MUFFA dal soffitto che rendeva impraticabile lavarsi (soprattutto per la donna con capelli lunghi), spruzzava e perdeva acqua ovunque (il bagno era una piscina ). L'host ci ha proposto di lasciare la struttura con il rimborso parziale della struttura, della serie: " ARRANGIATI A TROVARE ALTRO!" quando invece LUI DOVEVA CERCARE UNA NUOVA SOLUZIONE PER NOI! In "compenso" ci ha tolto la tassa di soggiorno (una ventina di euro) dalle spese.. Ho chiesto delucidazioni sul perche il bagno era diverso da quello delle foto su Booking e mi ha risposto che da Ottobre 2024 che aveva cambiato il bagno ma che si era dimenticato di mettere le foto nuove. UN INCUBO!!! EVITATE!!!

The location was excellent, pretty much in the centre of town. The staff were very helpful and friendly and check in was really easy.

I thought it was quite expensive. The photos make the room look bigger than it is. The bathroom is very small and a plus size person may find it very awkward. The shower head was very dirty and clogged so water didn't come out properly. Cleaning could be a lot better and the microwave did not work. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were flat. There was only one spare pillow, but it did not have a cover. I was going to use a spare blanket from the wardrobe but it smelt dirty. I would not stay here again which is a shame because the host was very helpful.

The location is hard to beat: at the center of Taormina. The place is spacious.

The bed wasn't that comfortable (it felt like 2 single beds joined) and the upstairs neighbors were really loud.

Perfect Location just steps away from the vibrant Corso Umberto, the ancient Greek Theatre, and many cafes and shops. Reasonably Priced and very Clean, Giovanni takes great pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment for guests. The flat is also well-Equipped for Cooking. Giovanni was incredibly responsive when we needed hospital information during our stay, he provided prompt and helpful guidance, which was greatly appreciated. Finally, Sustainability a cause close to our hearts, it was nice to see that the flat supported eco-friendly practices with three different recycling bins. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this flat in Taormina.
