Bali Villa Mirissa

Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen, modernen Zimmern. Alles war sauber und gepflegt und wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Man ist mitten in der Natur aber trotzdem relativ schnell mit dem Tuktuk ( wir haben uns einen Roller gemietet) in der Stadt. Leider konnten wir den netten Besitzer nicht persönlich kennenlernen aber alle Fragen und Probleme wurden sofort beantwortet bzw. gelöst. Shehan der " Hausmeister" vor Ort war sehr liebenswürdig und immer hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What did I like ? Everything !!! Calm serene place surrounded by a swamp, and next to fields, trees and a hillock further away. If you like to be amongst the green and with nature this is a great place. Beautiful huge room !!! and bathroom with all amenities mentioned, a balcony over looking a swamp stream filled with aquatic life. If relaxing on the balcony watching the fishes, turtles, the occasional Srilankan monitor lizard and wild duck playing hide-n-seek and swimming by then this is your place. The rooms are well spaced with a more than sufficient dinning with also a terrace area overlooking the swamp and a couple of peacocks for grace. The Mirissa beach is just a tuk-tuk away, there are shacks with restaurants and music if you want to step up the ambiance. The owner Niluk - a fantastic guy and the caretaker went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, they know how. We loved the place so much that we cancelled the last leg of our travel plans and extended our stay here. Recommended the place to my friends and going back some time for sure.

Our family of four was looking for a quiet place near Mirissa to enjoy its pristine beach, but most accommodations were located in the busy town area. Fortunately, we discovered Bali Villa, a calm and well-maintained property just 1.5 km from the beach. The villa offered the perfect balance — peaceful surroundings for relaxation and easy access to the beach within a 5–7 minute drive. The environment was clean, serene, and ideal for unwinding away from the crowds.

Tranquil little haven away from the busy tourist area of Mirissa, with so much wildlife on your doorstep - monitor lizards, peacocks, monkeys, birds and the friendly dogs. Great to explore the small trails nearby on the bikes. Extremely helpful staff and owner. Would stay there again.

The villa is situated along a lagoon where you can enjoy some activities like sup and a some canoeing I suggest early morning to enjoy the sunrise. The bedroom is spacious and clean. The manager Niluk even made sure to keep my room air conditioned because I arrived late in the evening. The bed is big and comfortable which was just what I needed to end my trip in Sri Lanka. The villa is situated a 5 to 10 minute bicycle ride from Marissa which was perfect and they offer bicycles to the guest. I loved my stay at Bali because Niluk the manager is one of the most hospitable and kindest people I've met and he goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The rooms are so clean and have balconies that I loved to sit out on in the morning. I was so grateful to use the rooftop for yoga, washing machine, and bikes to ride into town. Niluk and staff are so wonderful and accommodating and make you feel right at home. Plus there are the cutest dogs onsite, as well as monkeys, peacocks, and cows! Niluk went out of his way to help with anything we needed — he’s truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced. Thank you Niluk for such a wonderful stay!

This villa is heaven on earth, you are truly surrounded by nature with wild animals roaming the grounds such as peacocks and water buffalo. With all the liveliness of Mirissa just 10 minutes away it’s hard to believe you could be somewhere so tranquil. Niluk the owner looked after my friend and I from the moment we arrived until the moment we left and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable providing yoga mats, free bicycles to cycle into town and even herbal tea! It was our best 5 days in Sri Lanka and I just wish I could have stayed longer at the villa!

The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. Waking up to the serene river views while enjoying breakfast is a highlight. A perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility in Mirissa!

A hidden gem in Mirissa, great location if you like a cycle into the centre with great scenery. Even seen a few turtles, lizard, spider and monkeys on the balcony. Very close to the train station also.
