Good location, well appointed. Kitchen area a lovely social space

The location was ideal, only a short walk into town. There are a lot of places that don't take group bookings for hen parties so it was perfect to find a place that did! The house and the facilities were simple but nicely put together, there was plenty of space in the kitchen for everyone to be together and the bedrooms were also a good size with comfortable beds. It was clean and well kept.

It wasn't clear on booking that there is a house and an annex, so if booking for more than 12 you are not all in the same building, although it was literally right outside and there was no living room area in the main house, it just had a large dinning table. Bin collection/ emptying wasn't clear anywhere so we didn't know what to do with all the rubbish. It also said space for 1 car but we received no permit information so we couldn't park outside the property but that was also fine as there are plenty of car parks, would recommend Charlotte street.

Great house for large party. Liked large kitchen with long kitchen table for everyone to sit around and chat and chill over a meal. Perfect location for all attractions, bar and restaurants. Very clean property. Comfy beds.

The location couldn't have been better

The house is very run down and scruffy. Terrace wasn't open and the door to it is the first thing you see when you walk into the property (its blacked out with privacy paint and a handwitten notice, looks awful). First impressions were that it was very run down and the pictures are deceiving. The management were very quick to attend and open the terrace however it was very untidy out there and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Showers leaked, doors to kitchen cupboards were shoddy, one lot of bedding was stained, etc etc. None of this would be a major issue if it wasn't for the price. You're being charged a premium rate for not so premium property. As i said, the location is excellent and the manager did respond promptly to the terrace issues but I imagine you could get alot more for your money elsewhere. I have stayed in many apartment/houses across the country including tiny air bnb's in the middle of nowhere and this is the only time i have ever left a bad review. You're basically being charged for where it is not what it is.
