Emy House Sorrento

Nice property within a 10 min walking distance to Sorrento. Nice to walk early in the mornings, take the coastal walk in, there are some lovely views on the way. Lovely apt with terrance and balcony area to relax during afternoon or evening. Pool was nice, only used it once as we were busy. Three bedrooms which suited our family and all with air con. One bathroom which didn’t bother us. Secured apartment and felt safe there. It was quiet in the evenings, very relaxing. Apt was clean with everything we needed. Would recommend for families or couples.

It was a good size, comfortable bedrooms with plenty of storage space. And not too far to walk to Piazza Tasso, takes around 15mins.

This was the fourth property we had stayed in during our holiday travelling all over Italy and sad to say this came fourth when compared to the others, particularly given the cost over €2,600 for 8 nights. Given the amount being charged I think some of this money needs to be invested in upgrading the property as it needs a bit of work, particularly the bathroom, where the shower is fixed to the wall by a nail which looks like it’s going to give way and the whole thing come off the wall. Kitchen could also do with a bit of an upgrade, there were gaps/holes between the worktop and tiles where ants came in when it rained, not very nice to wake up to ants crawling over the cooker. Also needed to defrost the fridge as it was full of ice so was more like a freezer. No coffee machine, which we had had in all the other properties we had stayed at in Venice, Florence and Rome. The pool isn’t the best with only a few plastic chairs to sit on, would be nice if the apartment had a couple of fold up sun beds or chairs that you could take down to lie by the pool, we ended up at the beach areas down at the marina but this cost €70 a day. Another thing to be mindful of is apart from the kitchen there is no communal living space/room, as what would have been the living room has been turned into a bedroom.

Nothing about the property, but the only issue is the address on booking.com isn’t correct so both our transfers went to the wrong location.

This whole stay and experience was very pleasant. Large, comfortable rooms that were great for 3 travelers. Good air conditioning, WiFi, elevator, kitchen, balconies, everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The host was very communicative and easy to work with. And the location is nice, walkable to good restaurants and shops and the main areas you want to go. Thank you!

Cleanliness,location and everything to make you feel at home. Having essentials at the property was nice to get acclimated. Dish soap even laundry soap and paper towel! Location was wonderful and having a pool was refreshing.

Wish more than one bathroom. Otherwise PERFECTION!
