Sandy palace Hotel

Rooms are spacious very clean and comfortable,The views from the hotel are amazing and the staff are always willing to help if needed. The food was also very good.

It was a bad experience.

We arrived at 14:10 and waited about 2.5 hours until 16:30 to receive our family room. Due to the delay, they offered us a complimentary dinner, which was delicious and greatly appreciated. However, the family room differed significantly from the pictures shown on Booking.com. The address listed on Booking.com was incorrect—the hotel is not located on Ber AlSabe Street but in Jabal Alhussain, a very busy area. Although they claim to offer free parking, what they actually provide is valet parking. The valet attendant advised us to take any valuable items with us, suggesting that even the valet service is not secure. Despite advertising themselves as a four-star hotel, I did not experience anything that reflected this rating. The television in the room was an internet TV that constantly froze, and the internet connection was so poor it was practically unusable. There were ants on the floor, even though our family room was on the third floor. The elevator did not work on the first day, the second day, or the third day. We had to climb four flights of stairs repeatedly. To make matters worse, on our second day, our room key stopped working after breakfast. We had to go down to the reception to replace it, but it still didn't work. We waited for a maintenance worker with a master key to open the door. He informed us that someone would come to reprogram the door, but after waiting from 11:00 am to 14:00 pm, no one arrived. We informed the receptionist that we would be going out and requested that someone fix the door in our absence. When we returned late at night, with our children sleepy, the door still wasn't fixed. They eventually sent a maintenance worker to open the door. The entire situation was extremely frustrating, especially given the staff's complete disregard for guests' complaints. The broken elevator throughout our stay only added to the frustration. The entire hotel felt like it was in need of maintenance.
