Golf View

The flat being ground floor opening out onto the garden via the french doors was a wonderful way to spend our 3 warm summer evenings. Perfectly appointed in every way. The beds are super comfy Perfect location for exploring everything Ayrshire. We booked a Calmac ferry to Arran out of Troon harbour just 10mins up the road for a day trip. Explored Culzean Castle about half an hour south. Don't let the location of the nearby airport or rail line put you off. The flight paths don't go over the flats, and you can't hear the trains. Peace and quiet of the golf course across the road and sea at the end of the road with its esplanade and sunsets to die for. David made us feel so welcome and had some fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and pubs, and the fine food they serve.

The location of the flat couldn't have been better , only a 5 min walk to the beach and the main street. The view over the golf course was wonderful. In terms of the flat it was very clean and had everything you needed to stay for 1 night or a whole week. The bed linen was good quality and the towels large and fluffy, which was a bonus.

I was with two elderly parents who found the furniture, beds and toilets too low. We managed, but some better quality sofas, with higher seats and backs and slightly higher beds would have been better.

This apartment is really lovely. It’s just minutes from the train station and Main Street. It has an open view over the golf course and a minute from the beach. The beds are extremely comfortable and the apartment is very quiet. Communication from host was excellent and accessing the apartment was very easy. A great place to stay.

Perfect location, couldn’t get any closer to the entrance of Prestwick golf club where I was playing.

Spacious and excellent location for a golfing trip

Nothing everything was great, an option of twin beds would enhance the property further for 4 guys staying together but it didn’t put us off.

Location was first class, as was the cleanliness and presentation of the accommodation. Easy communication and David allowed us an extra hour on the last day to suit a tee time at Prestwick - great flexibility. Would highly recommend.

Very, very small comments, but hopefully simply for feedback. One of the keys was a bit stiff, some lamps were missing light bulbs and the shower in the main bathroom was quite short (I'm 6' 2" and had to duck to use it). Otherwise, absolutely perfect.

We were there strictly for golf. The Location was great for us due to we were golfing at Prestwick. If you wanted to golf courses in the Troon area, the drive was about 15 minutes with no traffic. It was nice and quiet in the neighborhood and we felt very safe there.

No coffee maker so we bought a French Press and left it in the unit for future coffee drinking guests.

Location was awesome. Easy walk in to town, very close to beach and could not be closer to Prestwick Golf Club!
