The couch was very comfy. Host left traditional cakes, which is a kind touch.

Kitchen was MINIMALLY equipped. There are three pans but no saucepan, only one proper knife, no scissors, no kettle, literally 2 cups. The house has no outdoor seating (it's not advertised, but also not mentioned), it gets damp when it rains and it smells a little murky (common problems in many houses). We had sheets but no duvet, but did have a warm, thick blanket, but that also smelled a little murky. It's a little village, cute, but basically consisting of nothing but holiday homes.

We loved the village location. We walked from the house every day and the spring flowers were glorious. We did not stay in this house as there was a problem with it so we were put in a different house so we cannot comment on this house.

The village is cute and they have great pizza's at the nearby restaurant! The house looks nice, small but works well. There is a lot of character in the small village and house and has most things you need to have a comfortable stay.

the internet connection was not very stable, and we had no network on our phones, so if you want to work remotely it may be a bit hard. there are only windows on one side, so there is not a lot of air circulation, which made it quite hot! However there was a fan, that helped. there is no shop in the town, you really need a car to go to beaches, cities or visit something else, but that is quite normal in portugal!

Loved the cozy clean and with all essential things. I recommend it

Could not find anything I did not like. Maybe just a bigger cutting board in the kitchen

We booked it last minute and we were amazed by the location

Village of Pedralva is lovely very traditional, relaxed and two great restaurants..Excellent for families or couples and dogs! Peaceful in the morning and buzzing in the evening.. need to book a table for the restaurants as they get busy in this little village.

We loved the little cottage but if you are very very tall upstairs the mezzanine style bedroom ceiling can be challenging! Maybe another fan as August is rather warm?
