Rusutsu Risu House

Only a short drive to Rusutsu ski field. Parking is directly outside the house. It's an older Japanese house but still in good condition. Warm and good beds. Make sure you buy groceries from the big supermarkets in Kutchan before arriving as local options aren't great as there are mainly convenience stores. Kitchen worked well for us. We are a family who can speak Japanese/English so all of the appliances were easy to understand - hot water/bath/washing machine/hob make sure you have Google translate if you aren't familiar with Japanese!

Unsure about the value for money. It's not cheap but nothing around touristy parts of skiing in Hokkaido is. As long as you have transport (or take the host up on their offer for a rental car) it's fine. Don't expect it to be an ultra modern new build right next to the ski fields and you'll be fine.

Distance from ski lifts

Have a lot of bedrooms and spacious. Simple kitchen (no scissors) 😅 Very local Japanese house. Very quiet location. Close to shops. (Walking distance - 2mins)

One toilet - prepare for toilet queues in the morning.

location is nice. near the bus station to rusutsu ski resort. restroom is simple but clean.
