Our host, Claudio, is also an excellent tour guide who knows everything about Faeto. The casa itself is large and has kitchen facilities as well as a modern washer...in case you need some clean clothes ! The location is adjacent to the Belvidere for a spectacular view of the valley below as well as the hills above Faeto.

No comment...we loved everything about Faeto.

"If traveling by train, get to Foggia."

There was no breakfast included, but that was understood. Location is good.

Directions on how to arrive to the property. Without a car we were unaware that the bus would only take us to a town 20 min. away. There was no taxi, Uber or other transport available. The Police fortunately spoke English and called the property owner to come get us. The Police warned us about being charged a large fee for this short pickup. He was correct and we negotiated the price lower for the short distance.

Claudio met us with a key at the property. Very friendly, even had a drink with him. We found out that my grandmothers brother, uncle Daniele was best friends with his father before he passed away. A very spacious house. Washing machine was very welcome as we were travelling. The villagers make you feel very welcome even though we couldn’t speak much Italian. Great pizza restaurant in the village, very cheap.

Everything was great.
