La Casita

At first, the area might seem a bit dodgy, but I’m pleased to say that we didn’t encounter any issues during our visit. One of the highlights was how convenient it was to park the car; we parked right in front of the property most times without any hassle.

However, a couple of points need attention. The insulation in the property could definitely be improved. You can hear quite a bit of noise from outside, which might be bothersome at times. On a positive note, it was pretty quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. Another downside was the presence of mould in the bathroom, which created an unpleasant smell. This should be addressed promptly to ensure a healthier environment for guests. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, our stay was largely satisfactory, and we felt comfortable throughout our time there.

Perfect location,close to the centre, but allocated in quiet street without lots of traffic. Very nice, clean with all necessary facilities. Good price/quality. Will be definitely my choice for next visit to Catania

No windows and claustrophobic

Comfortable & well-equipped apartment with a super nice host. Great location, 5-min walk away from the city center. Highly recommend.

The host was friendly and easy to contact, and she was happy to help whenever needed. La Casita is very spacious and has everything at your diaposal, from a washing machine and a dryer, to kitchen tools and an AC. The location is excellent, a short 10 minute walk to the main square and has lots of shops nearby. Feels like home!

Only flaw I would point out is that the front door goes right onto the street, so it can be a bit noisy in the morning once the city gets lively. But this is pretty common in Catania and will often be noticed.

Unfortunately, the apartment smelled very strongly of dampness, it was impossible to sleep and all the clothes smelled, it was very noisy from the road 😔

It was very lovely and comfy apartment and very clean. Good location , all buss stops and station are near where you can go in taormina or syracuse. and very good restaurants and shops near. Owner is so lovely, gave good vacation tips and how to buy bus tickets and help to get ride to airport and back there when i left home. I definitely recommend it to everyone, whether traveling alone or vacationing with family or friends.🥰
