Really loved my stay here. The place is a beautifully renovated historic home that keeps its original character. The pool was small but super refreshing and a nice spot to chill. Location is also great. It is close to the old city, easy to get around. But honestly, what made the stay was the host. She’s an artist and such a kind, welcoming person. She gave great recommendations and just made the whole experience feel really warm and personal. Breakfast was amazing too. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a stay with character, comfort, and a genuinely lovely host.

Everything! The lady running the place is just super nice, staff truly genuine and kind. The room was actually an apartment on 2 floor with terrace, wow!! Very quite and comfortable beds I will defo come back here

The staff was outstandingly nice and accommodating, absolutely lovely people. It was a very peaceful place and had a good vibe. Also it was very clean and the breakfast was amazing

Very quiet and relaxed. It's a nice old house which hasn't been over-restored. Niama was very friendly and welcoming. Location was fine for us, but is in a residential area with minimal street lighting

Being an old house you have to accept that it is not as comfortable to stay in as a modern hotel, and a bit draughty and chilly in winter. The description was a bit misleading - there is a kitchen but it's not generally available to guests. Our room had only a sink and a kettle, although we did borrow cups and cutlery. There is no washing machine available, laundry can be done but at 10 euros a load is very expensive.

No running water and no employeees available during late hours upon arrival. Ecxperienced Unexpected 30% price increase by the fine print upon checkout. Room was cold during winter. But in general an acceptable stay.

A nice traditional feeling property in a quiet location. The staff we dealt with at the property were very friendly.

The property policy states that they accept various credit cards. This is not the case and only cash is accepted. We spent an hour trying to resolve this over the phone but were told it was cash only and not their problem that the details were wrong.

The room and the courtyard were very nice. Mr. Khaled gave us a warm welcome. The location is quiet central in Houmt Souk, 10 minutes walking distance to the tourist centre and market. The price was very good for what we got.

The breakfast was quiet small and when we asked for more bread, we were given just one small piece per person aditionally. The fake grass in the courtyard doesn't match the rest of the nice interieur.

Dar Michèle was a great experience, the hosts are friendly, the decor is authentic and traditional, the location is perfect and everything was great!
