3th floor actually, not the second. the shower in the bathroom is broken.

The location is great, it was very clean, the view from the balcony was nice. There is everything you might need in the apartment. The wifi connection was also good.

It was walking distance to many areas. Close to the train station. The place was nice and clean, easy to get to. We had a really nice time. Host was very accommodating.

If I had one minor issue, it would be the bedroom in the loft was very warm. The A/C did not reach it. We had a family of 4. For a couple of people, it would not be an issue. Otherwise, it was a nice place.

parking is a nightmare, but thats more a problem of Bari and when you want to be close to the centre.

We actually stayed at the apartment at Via Quintino Sella 201. That apartment is not far from the train station and also not far from the Bari city center. It was very warm inside and the heating was great, only need to turn it on for a short while, the whole apartment can stay warm for a long time.

I requested early check-in on 1st December, and tried to text the host a few days before our departure date, but never got any reply. On the 31st Dec, which was less than 24 hrs before our departure, I had to call the host and ask if I could check in early on 1st Jan. He told me that he had to take a look at my message first. Then after a few hours, he wrote to us that something was broken in the apartment we booked, and sent me some pictures of 2 other apartments, asking me to choose one. I chose the first one (Via Quintino Sella 201). It was a maximum 50-60 sq meters, which is less than half of the size of the original apartment we paid for (and we did not get any partial refund). The cutlery and plates/pots provided in the apartment were a minimum amount. There are a few pieces of cheap quality furniture, but the sofa shown in the pictures was not there. The apartment is pretty dark because it is on the ground floor. You need to turn on the lights during the day. The washing machine is outside the apartment. One day before leaving Bari, in the morning, the electric stove broke down when we were cooking breakfast. I messaged the host. He only replied "give me a minute", then we never heard from him again. We ended up throwing the food left because we could not cook it. I do not recommend anyone to book any apartment from this host, lessons learned, always make sure to call the host and get everything settled before the free cancellation period ends. I have booked quite a few apartments offered by private hosts in 2022, this one is by far the worst experience.
