La Piazzetta Suite "Dimore Lucane"

Really lovely apartment straight out of a design magazine, right in the middle of town. Very hi-tech if slightly challenging digital door entry key system meant we never met our host, who was very helpful via WhatsApp.

My only gripe is that there was no allocated parking as had been advertised on booking.com and no way of knowing who’s bad info that was. While you can try finding free parking in the blue boxes, our host got us a space in a locked underground parking for €20 peace of mind.

The apartment is clean and modern, and very well located just off Via Pretoria, the pedestrian way. Comfortable bed. Good location other than being next to the loud bar next door.

The small bar next door was a nuisance, playing loud music until 1 am the first night we stayed and hosting a group karaoke session that went until after 2 am the second night we were there. We had to keep the windows open because it was warm and there is no air conditioning, but it’s very possible we would have heard the music with the windows closed too. Potenza is low-key and relaxed. Our sleeping hours weren’t. It’s too bad the apartment is next to what could be the loudest place in that part of town.

if you offer tea bags you should offer mugs . How are you supposed to drink tea out of espresso cups?

Modern spacious room, with beautiful decoration. Super clean and always providing the essential: clean towels, shower gel, shampoo, water, coffee and tea. The location is really convenient and the neighborhood so cute. I totally recommend it and I would gladly visit again!

Be aware that if you arrive on a Sunday, almost everything is closed

The breakfast was a little confusing. It’s jot exactly “included”, but it was discounted.
