Matira Beach House

Location

Before arrival, on check-in and while being shown the property we were repeatedly told what was included with the property. That's the reason we booked, if the host had been honest about the known safety concerns and ongoing dispute between the owner and the locals then we would have chosen another property. It seems like this has only started in the last few months and totally changed the overall experience of the property from paradise to conflict. We did not feel safe and had to flee the property due to their dispute. Lucky we found other accomodation through travel insurance. Host didn't fix any of the issues and would regularly send us texts to tell us to do things for the house. Also ridiculous. Why should our holiday feel like another job during the middle of a neighbourhood dispute. Avoid.

Ubicación ideal. frente a una hermosa playa y cerca de Matira Beach publica. Cerca de un super, lugares para comer y paseos. Todo para pasarla genial. Moderna, confortable, con salida a la playa.

The location couldn’t be beat! The view of the water…the sunrises…and we could just walk out of our fenced yard and we were on our own beachfront! The dock was great & and snorkeling right in front of of the property was so convenient! Plus we could walk to Matira Beach as well as two markets & plenty of restaurants! Can’t recommend this place enough!
