"Good spot with parking but old creaky pub"

Good location with parking. Good facilities in the pub, pool table, darts etc. food ok, a bit pub grub but good value.

Terrible room, very noisy. The bed almost moved as people walked down the corridor. Very noisy floorboards, especially just outside our door. Bathroom a bit grubby, toilet didn’t fit and moved when you sat on it. Shower either freezing or boiling (tried all 3 settings!) Poor breakfast choices. Nothing I would prefer to eat and my husbands sausages just fatty….

15 minute walk from the start of the C2C walk. Reasonably priced, clean, comfy and friendly staff. Evening meals available and cooked breakfast

Great bed tasty breakfast, quiet in spite of being a pub

Bath ran very slowly. Check in a bit chaotic. Not enough furniture to put things on. Terrible coffee
