Great location near the Gion district. Great staff. Rooms were nice, and the dinner and breakfast were great! We also enjoyed the onsen and public baths, as well as the shower and bath in our room. They also had luggage storage.

"Affordable ryokan in a great location with amazing tattoo friendly public baths!"

We loved the traditional Japanese meal in our room. The public baths were amazing after a day of walking. And staff was amazing!

There was some noise in between the room but overall the ryokan was in a great location, great staff and the public baths were again clean and amazing.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Authentic Ryokan stay that was inclusive off traditional Japanese culture. Highly recommend getting the breakfast option and using the onsen. Staff we're absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the stay!

"A bit pricey"

Atmosphere and room was excellent for Ryokan

It’s a bit far from the nearest station; about 13 or so minute walk and when we arrived we thought we booked the room with dinner included but was told upon arrival that we didn’t so we had to look elsewhere. It’s a shame because from the photos they looked delicious and were it not for the food we wouldn’t have chosen this accommodation

"Great Ryokan, nice room, good location, good service"

Location was great, within walking distance of multiple shrines and Gion Square. Room was very nice and traditional, has a tea set you can use.

12:00 midnight curfew, they lock front doors after that.
