ZAThe location is amazing - in the middle of nowhere inside a nature reserve surrounded by gorgeous forrest. The room is generously sized, the view from the room was very "tuscan", just like one would expect. Each day we decided anew whether we would have our dinner at IL Paradiso or elsewhere and every day we decided to come "Home" after a long day out sightseeing because Patrizia and Mario made us feel like coming home.
Our room only had one bedside table and lamp, a second one would have been great.
PLvery nice owners, Mario prepared us the best dinner we ate during a three-week trip, a wonderful and quiet place in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve. We wholeheartedly recommend staying in this amazing place.

The mattress was a little too soft
USThe breakfast was an Italian breakfast. But there was an option to have more with an extra payment, We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute there. The owner Patriza was very accommodating and saw to all our needs. We opted to go for her dinners all 3 nights and was blown away with the quality of the food and wines. And the best part was that the dinners had a pre fixed price with 4 courses which was well worth it. The best part of it was that there was no menu, they just bring out the food like you were having dinner at home. Would stay there over and over again. Thanks so much for the great hospitality.
Just be prepared to drive over some rough roads getting there but it was well worth it.

BEFriendly owners and quite place. There is a spacious very well equipped common kitchen if you want to cook your own food. (but they charge you an additional 10€ if you use it). The kitchen has a nice but small terras where you can eat and enjoy sunset. But there is only place for 2 people... Rooms or clean and spacious. Air conditioning.
The swimming pool is small and not at all as the pictures on the site suggest. Moreover, we could not use it when we were there. Water needed treatment... Around the pool there are no chairs, sun loungers or parasols. Actually, no loungers or parasols on the whole domain. Only some not so comfortable wooden banks. Also the place is very remote. The way to the main road is 5km, very steep and during 4km gravel. The location and view is nice, but you are at one of the lowest points in the valley, so it is not as breath-taking as it is on the heights around Volterra...
