City Lights Duplex

Apartment was bigger than expected and very quiet.

Great apartment, very close to the center but in a very quiet area, perfect if you want to aviod street Noise. Lots of space. Some minor negative small details in this high level of apartment would be easily avoidable, like cleaner faucets, a curtain for the shower and a few crackles here and there. Totally fine for me, though.

Nice big apartment, about 25mins walk from Medina, 10mins to shopping centre . Could've had better finishing on a lot of things eg, no shower curtain meant water went all over floor and toilet. Toilet seat was too small for the toilet. No electric kettle, so had to boil water in a pot. No instructions for TV, hob( couldn't get any TV channels, signed into our own Netflix , discovered ourselves that you had to turn on gas bottle in cupboard). Biggest worry for security, was that french doors didn't shut properly or lock, and we were told this was normal. No local info eg where nearest supermarket was, or local sights..which would've been useful and saved us time.

Was a little cold, but there were heaters in each room so not a problem

The only thing we like was the location and that the property was well equipped.

I travel a lot and I have never slept in such a disgusting place before with dirty bedsheets/bed covers. The property has a bathroom with a shower and a bath which none of them worked properly. It was a terrible experience. The shower drain was blocked and it was releasing dirty, disgusting water with some dirt while using a shower and bath waste plug was broken too and it was closed all the time and we couldn’t make the water drain properly. The property has a garden and massive garden doors which were broken and we couldn’t lock them so we were leaving all our stuff behind with unlocked garden doors. The walls are very thin so we couldn’t sleep at night because there was a party next door every single day. The worst experience ever.
