Fantastic property

Nice location and garden

Poppy Cottage is in a nice location and has potential, but it was not pristine when we arrived. We took care of the property during our stay and cleaned thoroughly before leaving, but there were virtually no cleaning products or equipment provided to allow a deep clean. Despite this, we later received a surprisingly rude and condescending message from the owner accusing us of leaving the cottage “in a state.” This was completely unfair and not reflective of the condition in which we left it. The tone of the message was unnecessarily hostile and overshadowed what could have been a positive experience. If you choose to stay here, be aware that expectations for cleanliness seem to be high, but the means to meet them are not provided — and feedback from the owner may be less than professional.

Tv took ages to log in to get working. Rebecca very helpful. Only had one chair at dinner time to eat

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location.

There wasn't anything not to like.

The location was out of this world. Beautiful views and all you can hear are the newborn lambs bleating and the birds singing. The cottage itself is a beautiful building with lots of character. The facilities were second to none and the cleanliness and decor were fantastic. With little touches that made us feel very welcome.
