Pucci House Watamu

Everything! The property is exactly as described, it's cozy, everything is new, beatifully designed bathroom, modern new windows, impeccably clean, beautiful terrace at the the roof, lovely breakfast area. Everyone was genuinely so kind, Alex and his wife are such nice and helpful people! The spa on premises also is great, has very reasonable prices compared to other touristy locations, and is very professional and soothing. I absolutely recommend getting a massage - it was just what I needed and it was a great massage. On top of all that breakfast was wonderful as well, with an incredibly rich plate of fresh fruit that I absolutely loved, scrambled eggs offered every day and properly brewer strong coffee! I am gluten intolerant and Alex made sure I have gluten free options for breakfast as well. The location is good, a few minute walk to a beach, and walkable to a couple nearby beaches (albeit a little longer walk, but I like to walk - you can easily get a tuk tuk though).

WiFi was a little unreliable (just in case you're planning to work) but it wasn't a big deal for me, just keep in mind. And the beach boys as they call them who will constantly want something from you as you walk to the beach or are at the beach (that has nothing to do with the property - just a Kenya/Watamu thing). The closest beach is nice but I found others nicer - Willy Beach, Garoda Beach.

La struttura è bellissima, curata e molto pulita. La colazione che ci veniva offerta ogni giorno sempre abbondante e varia. Alex e Pola sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno dato tutte le indicazioni sulla zona ed erano sempre disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Struttura super consigliata.

Pucci House is situated right in the centre of Watamu village. It's a super peaceful and tranquil place to stay, with a lovely garden, pool area and roof terrace. The room was big, with a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed, the decor was also very nice. The breakfast was served in the outdoor seating area and was excellent; fruit platter, granola, toast, juice, eggs and bacon. Alex and Pola are very helpful, offering advice on where to eat and what to do. There's also an excellent beauty salon in the grounds which do a great massage and other treatments.

The immediate area around the house takes some acclimatising! Watamu is quite intense when it comes to the touts and people generally following you asking you the classic 'where you from' and not leaving you alone. I had to go to the ATM a couple of times, and we also walked around for lunch and dinner, and we were always hassled. With that said, the boda boda (moto taxis) were very friendly and we got a couple of numbers and used them to go to dinner at the resorts further down the beach.

Pucci house is a lovely, small guesthouse with pretty gardens and in a residential neighbourhood not far from shops and eateries. Alex was a very attentive host, gave me tips for the area and organised transportation back to the airport. I found Jua room really comfortable and furnished to a high spec, overlooking the communal gardens. A lot of care has gone into the design and furnishings of the guest house. Breakfast was simple and nicely prepared by a lovely woman in the property. Having both an overhead fan and AC was really great as the heat is quite something in Watamu! I wish you well at Pucci House!

Pucci House is a cozy beautiful gem perfectly located close to the town. The place is beautiful and impeccable in every detail with a good energy. Alex and Pola are extremely kind and welcoming and they were so helpful regarding everything (from accommodating a food intolerance for breakfast to tips on things to do, places to eat etc.). Breakfast is amazing, the lush garden is pure bliss and the terrace is perfect for morning meditation or enjoying the full moon at night. I also had a truly relaxing deep tissue massage at the spa which I highly recommend.

It is an amaizing place, the owners made our stay very special. Clean, beautiful, good energy and for most amaizing people.
