Duiker's self catering Accommodation

The stay was really unprecedented. The housewife had prepared wood so that I could make a fire in the evening where I could prepare my meat 🤗in the house there were also all the things to make tea or coffee and all the cooking utensils were also present 😋the house is very sworn fully furnished 😍

Well thought out beautifully decorated rustic interior with above average quality amenities. Hosts were super nice. Perfect overnight stopover to and from the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Thanks a lot Essie, we had a very nice stay in Ashkam. This is the right place to stay in Ashkam ! Very nice place with all you need to cook and very confortable. Everything is safe around. And in less than a hour you reach the entrance of Kgalagadi National Park !

Duikers is a beautifully appointed self catering farm/country style guesthouse. Askham is a fabulous stop over en route to the Kgalagadi and Duikers was very welcoming and comfortable. Essie made us feel super welcome.

Our stay was perfect and we found it to be outstanding value for money.

The room was cool after a hot day on the road, the shower is amazing. The wifi is fast (after a couple of days without wifi it was a treat). The coffee station was a treat! Never expected a proper cup of coffee in the middle of our road trip. There is a file in the room on Essie's grandparents and their exceptional role during the establishment of Kgalagadi. It was such an interesting read. After a few minutes of conversation with Essie it felt like a home away from home. The warm welcome and extra attention to detail is really priceless.

Cannot really fault anything...except the washtub was a bit small. I struggled to wash the big "braaibak" without making a mess. But shoe... I was a bad guest ;-) left a few unwashed cups the following morning. Remembered on the road that I didn't wash them. Sorry Essie.
