This jewel of a place is situated on a Horse Stud farm. We had the entire house to ourselves and the whole area was at our disposal. I would like to thank especially the host John Koster for his gracious hospitality as well as Mariska Maas, his equestrian specialist, that took time off her busy schedule to take us on a guided experience of the stud horses and the surrounding stables. She gave us a vast history of the place and the hands-on experience with the horses made those moments special. If you are a person/family that enjoys style and the better things in life and you like commuting with nature, then this is the place for you. Long walks, "Horse whispering" bonding with nature and shorting nothing. Thank you!

To tell you the truth I cannot think of a single negative experience throughout our entire stay. it was far, far more than we expected and will certainly be returning.

I had a fantastic stay at Klawervlei Stud Guest House this past weekend. The house provided all the comfort and amenities needed, especially during the cold, rainy weather. The inside braai was a wonderful addition, perfect for cozy evenings. The two TVs ensured entertainment for everyone, and the hot tub kept the kids entertained and was a delightful way to relax. I also appreciated the thoughtful handrails in the showers, which added an extra touch of convenience and safety. The warm and welcoming staff and the beautiful surroundings made it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The property was incredible and so beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the bedding luxurious and such a treat to have electric blankets on the beds. The hosts were also extremely generous with ample wood and Blitz for the fires and the hot tub. The owner even came to light the hot tub for us. Such a nice touch. The surrounding views and mountains are spectacular too. Bonus was also the Siemens coffee machine with delicious coffee beans.
