The location was just mesmerising. Just backside of the camp was a river stream running by and in front of the camp were the huge snow clad mountains. The view was breathtaking. The staff (Mr Pradeep Negi) was very warm and attended to all our requirements.

There is nothing to complain mostly…except may be they could have had more tents set up as at a given point of time I don’t think more than 2 groups can be accommodated.

The food was fresh, delicious and gave a homely feeling. The location was perfectly situated in the valley besides the Baspa river and surrounded by high mountains on all sides. during the visit we were welcomed by a good amount of snowfall and the tent provided a good protection from the cold weather outside. The staff was extremely friendly and even went far a beyond as to provide a heating source for us to spend the cold snowy night.

The only thing that bugged me was the power outages during the time there as it meant low battery charge for our camera and phones. This is expected during the snowfall but a backup power source (generator or battery inverter) would have solved the issue.
