Old Smithy Cottage

We had a lovely overnight stay. The cottage is lovely & all the little touches were much appreciated. We walked a few doors down to the local pub for tea, then came back & played some games. Wouldn't hesitate to come back x

A lovely cottage in a lovely little village. All rooms to good standard with all amenities and a private driveway for your car. An extra bonus is the Greedy Badger pub offering excellent food with great service very close to the cottage. Highly recommend.

Lovely house, furnished well with lots of little extra touches. We loved the fresh flowers, cake and the fact that we didn’t have to buy salt, pepper, washing up liquid etc - we only stayed one night and these things were provided amongst others. Friendly and helpful hosts. Thanks!

We family and friends stayed for a night. Nice clean cosy place. They left us a cake and snacks for our arrival. Everything is there you needed. We definitely go back another time☺️

Traffic a little busy But didn’t bother us

The cottage was stunning, had a lovely homely feel as soon as you walked in. Perfect location, very peaceful. The owner added little touches for our stay which was unexpected and a lovely surprise. Great communication from the owner. Overall fabulous stay, we will be returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cannot even name one thing!

Plenty of space and very comfortable. In a lovely quiet spot but not too far from other towns and villages. We had nice food in the village pub which is 2 minutes walk away.
