Old Smithy Cottage

The house was full of little useful and nice things extras. The ‘summer’ house was a fabulous unique feature, nice for an early or late drink and snack outside outside. There used to be a large table near the house for meals.

The house was rather cool when we arrived late afternoon due to the heating timer setting.

Really comfy house, all mod cons (espresso machine!) and loads of basics (tea, spices, milk).

Fabulous

Beautiful cottage , location, comfortable beds, very courteous host, would stay again

Could tell that the previous guest had a dog in the cottage

The location was perfect for being near the main piers at the beach

The fridge wasn’t cleaned properly . There were hairs in the fridge the kitchen wasn’t cleaned as well. The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned we found sick behind one of the beds . Some sort of fishy smell which we found to be coming from one of the chairs . Hairs under the chairs and crumbs

Clean, lovely, cosy cottage. Ideal for families. And set in a lovely location not far from Blackpool Zoo and Water park. We will definitely be back
