DELFINI I

A wonderful little hotel on the main street, a few minutes walk to the bus station and main square in Thea. The owner couldn't do enough for me providing a kettle and sharing the lovely lemons from the tree in the garden. Loved my room (6) overlooking the garden. Wonderful bakery super close to get breakfast delights from. It was a delight to stay at this lovely hotel and I was so sad to leave.

3 minutes from the bus station, good location. The room is clean, quite and comfortable.

When it did get cleaned, it was done well. The location was great and an easy walk to the centre of Fira and bus depot.

It was completely outdated, in so much need of some renovations. It was cramped and not reflective of the advertised images. Upon my entry into a cigarette smoke filled foyer, I began to feel a sense of dread about our upcoming stay. The kitchen was so poorly equipped that we were unable to prepare any meals and barely could make a cup of tea. We're a travelling family of 5, and as part of our cost savings, eating meals in our accommodation is part of the requirement for our family. However, despite being advertised as a full kitchen, there was no kettle, no cooking utensils, and no even a plug to clean the dishes. We were only able to prepare toasted sandwiches. We didn't even have a bowl for breakfast cereal! The bathroom was so tiny and flooded every time you had a shower, not to mention that the shower head wasn't mounted and the shower curtain was mouldy. The bedsheets didn't fit, no spare bedding, so most nights we were cold and completely uncomfortable on the mattress. I did speak with the manager about why our room wasn't cleaned, as I was unhappy that the tiny bin was overflowing and could not clean my dishes as there was no sink plug and a dirty sponge. He told me no cleaning on Sundays and made an excuse based upon COVID for lack of any functioning kitchen facilities. We're not asking for much but just wanting accommodation that accurately reflects what is advertised.

Centrally located in Fira - 100 metres from bus station, and near all the main sights, supermarket and restaurants. Studio with basic equipment for self-catering. Plenty of storage space. Nice balcony with morning sun. The host Vasillis very helpful.

Like the location, that we don't have to walk too many stairs with our luggage, which is very common in Santorini.

For a budget accommodation, we thought it was fairly good. Excellent customer service. The location was fantastic - with Thira bus terminal right opposite the road and minutes away from the town centre and local amenities (wasn't too noisy either) Facilities were basic and somewhat outdated, but everything worked fine. The room was equipped with a fridge, a little electric cooker, and cookware - allowing us to cook light meals.

I can't complain too much considering the price we paid. But if the facilities could be improved or refreshed, it would definitely make the overall experience even better.

The property is close to Fira main town and all the amenities like restaurants, bus station and taxi is available.

The apartment is situated below basement. so. it feels damp and colder than the environment outside. there is no view from the apartment where santorini is no nice. Kitchen facilities is sub par and below average. money wise that apartment is not worth.

Great location only a few minutes to walk anywhere, comfortable bed, quiet suites on the backside of building away from the road with a balcony, no sea view but there is a pretty garden. Manager was nice and helpful.

Kitchen is basically useless, 2 burner cooktop, sink and fridge. Some stuff to eat with and one pot. No oven, no toaster, no coffee maker, not even a frying pan. Having said that I was grateful because pretty much everything is closed in January so I ended up scrambling eggs in the pot and eating them on untoasted bread. And I bought stuff for sandwiches and the supermarket sells pre-cooked roasted chickens so it worked out ok. The bathroom is tiny but otherwise it was a nice place to stay thats budget friendly
