Casa Plaza Bolívar

The hotel was in a good location - walking distance to restaurants and the main square. The hotel was an old house renovated to be a hotel, so in many ways it’s quite charming.

When we first checked in, the staff who checked us in put us in a standard room in the back, when we booked a superior room. We had to show him photos of the difference between standard rooms and superior rooms in order for him to give us a superior room. Second, breakfast was very simple and small and the same food every day. The room was hot. With all the windowed opened and one fan, the room was hot. Also, it would have been nice if the hotel installed window mesh to prevent mosquitoes flying in.

The pool and shared areas added to the experience. Staff were great at all times.

The house is very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are ample and clean and amazing bed. Staff very friendly.it is well located and close to everything
