A Great Backpacker Stay with a Delightful Café Vibe An excellent spot for backpackers. Comfortable, well-located, and thoughtfully designed. The room had a relaxed, travel-inspired atmosphere that suited my trip perfectly. What truly stood out was the café. The ambience was warm and inviting, ideal for unwinding or catching up on work. The tiramisu was outstanding, and the coffee and food were just as impressive. A hidden gem I would gladly return to.

Parking was a bit of a challenge as there’s no designated area available nearby, which can be inconvenient if you’re driving. Additionally, due to the room’s layout and proximity to the main road and internal walkway, noise from outside and passing guests was occasionally disruptive, especially at night.

The location is convenient, a short walk away to the main touristy locations; and I also like the café attached to the guesthouse, wonderful coffee and food. The room is new and rather spacious.

There's some kind of construction work being carried out in the neighborhood which sometimes last till 2+ am with shovelings and bulldozer (I think). As a late sleeper it wasn't too much of a problem for me, and this is not the fault of the guesthouse. Still, be aware of this potential problem if you are a light sleeper.

Really lovely room. Beautifully decorated. Hosts were so accommodating and understanding when we had some issues getting to Ipoh. Highly rate 👌 Food was really great downstairs and the guys made us sandwiches kne morning when we were heading into the jungle

Bed was a little hard. Could have had lamp beside bed.

Place is silence . Is suitable for people who need rest ,metime and recharge themselve.There’s a cafe downstair.

Very stylish, clean and welcoming. We loved the communal living space and balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel cafe was fabulous.

Aesthetic, Well equipped.

Guesthouse operator also runs a charming cafe on ground floor. Arrived 2 hours prior to normal check-in time, and as cafe was closed that day, no staff was around. Hoping to deposit our bags with guesthouse, called a number available on guesthouse door. Were provided one-time codes to enter guest house and access our room. So essentially granted check-in two hours early! Staff was again prompt & helpful the next day when we forgot to remove our card key and was locked out. Like this guesthouse for its less-busy location in small lane, only 10-15 mins walk away from the busier heritage/shopping area. Local food available in various stalls in near-by "coffee shops"/restaurants. Light sleepers may be bothered by sounds of occasional passing motor bike late at night or early morning. During our stay, there seemed to be humming sound of a generator some distance away. However, disposable ear plugs were available for guests (though we did not use). To be fair, don't think some noise can be avoided if staying in accommodation in a heritage/old town like Ipoh.

The towels provided were soft and clean, but there was a slight odour which could be due to insufficient airing/sunning after washing & drying.
