"Charming Cotswolds cottage"

9.0

The cottage was very well equipped, cozy and in a very ideal location in the Cotswolds. We would highly recommend it for a family or even couples travelling together for a long weekend.

Ideal location for the Cotswolds , lovely cottage. Had everything you need.

Little bit dark in the rooms as only has lamps to light them. Not ideal for getting ready if you have an event , as we were at a wedding nearby.

Super quiet location. Very nice little cottage. Great kitchen. Wonderful bath tub. Comfortable main bedroom. Super tranquil spot and an easy walk to the charming local pub. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

"Quenington is a lovely Cotswold village that isn’t overrun with tourists."

9.0

Quenington is a lovely Cotswold village that isn’t overrun with tourists. It has two pubs (x1 2mins)and a shop(next village with the other pub) which are within 20mins walking along paths from the cottage. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the kitchen is lovely with everything you need. Country walks from the village, a playground and the village green makes it a great place for families.

There is no shower cubicle just a bath with a handheld shower head. There’s no real outside space, the little strip next to the drive way is dark as it gets no sun after midday.

"Well-designed house in peaceful location"

10.0

Everything is really good quality - from the crockery to the carpets and the cabinetry. The electric range cooker is easy to use, there’s simple instructions, so don’t be daunted. There’s tablets for the dishwasher, toiletries and a cute welcome hamper with jams, biscuits and porridge sachets. The fridge and freezer are enormous if you’re bringing food, and we cooked in every night. The bed was super comfy and the bath was a rolltop with shower hose attached (you can’t stand up for a shower). There’s even well-ordered recycling bins in the front garden! The area is very peaceful and beautiful, we found a little tributary running through the churchyard, so we’d definitely recommend if you are after quiet and nature.

Maybe bring an eye mask, as the bedrooms are east facing!

Plenty of supplies, did not stint

Chair in lounge with torn exposed stuffing was not a good presentation, also lack of a handrail on staircase made ascent/ descent difficult for older guests
