Franklin Manor-Columbus Downtown Luxury Estate

Large house in a beautiful neighborhood with excellent amenities. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge. Although we didn't use them, there is a nice BBQ and fire pit in a spacious back yard. There was ample street parking in front of or right near the house. There is a great coffee shop (The Upper Cup) less than two blocks around the corner we visited every morning. It was a short drive to the airport, downtown, and the Ohio State campus. The owner was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend!

Location was good for our plans.

Check-in time was 4 pm. I called and asked if there was any way we could get in at 3:30 and was told no, the property was still being cleaned. The ladies cleaning the unit pulled up in front of our car around 3:20, they hadn't even started and didn't finish until 5:00. They told me they got the order the clean the property late and had never cleaned this location. They were nice enough to let us bring some of our supplies in while they were still cleaning and they even organized them for us. The property could be great. However there are things left in disrepair. The gate to the property does not close and you have to use your shoulder to open it. The grass was overgrown and the plants in the planters were dead. In the house there is aluminum foil on some of the air vents. The common area rug slides around and off the rug pad. There is one broken cabinet door and several drawers that do not close in the kitchen. The top floor is nice for extra sleeping room but it is very hot upstairs and we had to bring in fans to keep everyone sleeping up there cool.

Beautiful, spacious property. Communication with the owner was great. I would love to stay again if ever revisiting the Columbus area.

Fantastic stay! Very upscale property! Very clean! Pri the property manager is great! Very attentive to the smallest details. We’ll definitely stay in this house next time we are in Columbus.
