Over all it was easy to find and locate quiet nice area

The bed was broken the sofa bed was broken the drains in the shower were blocked worse property to stay in

The kitchen area was pretty new and well equipped, as were the two bathrooms. The staff at Staycations were very obliging about changed to arrival and checkout times. Good location near to shops and restaurants.

The carpets and furniture were rather grubby. Much of the carpet was coming away from it's gripper rods and was a trip hazard. The bed was only a small double (4 foot) and pushed up against the wall making it very uncomfortable for two people. The sheets were very wrinkly which made us wonder whether they had been changed.

I liked the location, outside building was warm & welcoming, parking was available and that before you check-in, that everything was sent to you both via App, text & email. It was very well organised and explained extremely efficiently including links to YouTube videos to show you how lockbox for key & appliances inside worked. Check in was very easy, even a back up key lockbox was apparently available. Well stocked tea/sugar/coffee. Very quiet the entire weekend. Washing machine was excellent quality, even provide a couple washing pods & dishwasher pods. Had ok WiFi signal, weak in some parts of building. Bathroom and WC. Both clean. Well stocked on toilet roll & shower gel provided in shower.

Cameras are EVERYWHERE, not mentioned on ad (not good for those having a secret rendezvous or like their privacy as every move causes a flash on said camera above your flats door, in your face). Every time I went out to my car or to take out rubbish to recycling or general trash, my motion was detected and would flash. My bed had been slept in, owner ignored me the entire weekend on both numbers. I had other requests about colleagues dropping off paperwork as check-info info stated strict guidelines on visitors, zero response until a day after I checked out. Then just said they’ll ’check the cctv’ about who slept in my bed as they diverted their phone to someone else. What if the electricity went or some other emergency?! Still not heard back a week later or been offered anything. TV left on porn channel making sleeping in that un cleaned bed feel extremely uncomfortable-no spare bed linen. Had to buy from local supermarket. Long black hairs inside bed. Bed throw smelt of urine. Fungus gnat infestation (dead & alive), dead ones caked the patio floor in its entirety. Couldn’t open beautiful patio door onto garden despite keys being left. Cobwebs everywhere. Fridge froze all my food. EXTREME smell of damp, almost unbearable. Very uneven floors, was scared to walk heavy. Both TVs had free view, couldn’t Bluetooth link to phone, no Netflix or YouTube. Bedroom tv had max 10 free view channels. Recycling was a MUST, cameras are watching! Mess all in communal hallway such as broken chair and broken pieces of vacuum which I found very unprofessional. The cleaner clearly just does a wipe and go job, doing bare minimum and not a professional job. So many stains on carpet, no attempt to vax.
