Check in was very unprofessional. The guy first hung op and then asked to send a copy of her ID’s while we were standing in front of the door with our bags. After we were inside and about to leave for dinner, the wife texted with a different number asking to send the copies again. When I told her to ask her husband she said he was working. Basically making their issue our problem. She should also understand we are not going to send copies of our documents to random numbers. Her number was not on the door or booking reservation. Airbnb was central but located in a street with people hanging out nearby and very loud until late at night and early morning. Overall not a nice vibe. Would especially not recommend to stay here when travelling alone. The accommodation was ok but not worth the price. Very small shower with mould and dirty fridge. There was also no remote to control the airconditioning. Texted them to ask where it is but they did not respond until the next day 10 minutes before check out. Unfortunately they still did not advise where the remote was, but they did tell us in Italian to pay for the tourist tax. Looking at other reviews there seems to be no remote control. Ironically they were quick enough to respond and follow up 6 times throughout the day on the tourist tax. When we told them we were not happy with the service they only asked once why not. Obviously they are not hospitable and don’t care about providing a memorable experience, but just want the money.
