Breathtaking Ocean view apartment in Kikambala

The location was excellent, quiet, remote, beach very close.

The fridge had not been used for a while, we brought meat to freeze and ended up throwing it out because of poor refrigeration.

We had a great stay at this modern coastal apartment tucked within Coastal Palms. The apartment was spacious, safe, and very well suited for a family holiday, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The layout was practical and family friendly, with plenty of space for everyone. The beach nearby is beautiful and perfect for nature lovers, adding to the peaceful coastal experience. A special mention goes to the "Mzungu" the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and made our stay effortless by always being available when needed. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would happily return for another family holiday.

Lovely, spacious, well equipped, clean apartment. Gorgeous, clean pool that I had to myself the entire stay! Set in peaceful, well kept grounds just moments from the beach. There is not much nearby (which is what I wanted) but useful to know - Out of the front of the apartment are a few small shops selling cigarettes, soda and some snacks. Also out of the front is a salon/ massage place where I got a great back/ neck/ shoulder massage from Nora for under 10GBP On the beach, go left to sand castle bar for drinks and friendly company. On the beach, go right for around 1KM where there is the North Coast Beach Hotel with a good selection of local and western food and drinks - all very reasonably priced and overlooking the beach.

This hotel is the best place to recover from the stress of everyday working life. Everything is lovingly and stylishly furnished, the layout is well thought out and spacious, the garden is beautiful and allows access to a lovely beach, the pool is clean and comparatively large, and although it looks a bit remote, you can get everything you need within walking distance. There is plenty of space for a hire car, the gravel track from the main tarmac road is easy to drive on, and there are plenty of very friendly boda-boda drivers available for small errands in Mtwapa. I even made friends with one of them! You can go out for lunch nearby or you can cook your own meals in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. TV incl Netflix and Wi-Fi worked perfectly and we didn't have a single power cut. The balcony is huge and invites you to sit outside for long evenings and enjoy the fresh breeze from the sea, which ensured that even in full sunshine at the end of May it was not at all stuffy or hot, so we were able to leave the perfectly functioning air conditioning switched off most of the time. But above all, the staff are simply super reliable, friendly and competent. Thank you for everything, I will gladly come back again and again.
