The property was clean with view. Conveniently located. Kitchen equipments and washer are big plus.

The apartment is new and clean. The layout and living space are convenient. There were enough dishes, pots, cups, coffee maker, etc. for whatever you needed.

See those big yellow boxes in front of that old building out the window? That's a functioning fish processing plant with the expected activity and odor. Yes, I know this is a fishing village and it is expected to have fishing activity. However, this is a premium priced property and it directly faces that plant, including effluent pipes that discharge directly in front of the apartment. You see the mountains, right over the old (not quaint old, just old) commercial building. Note also that this property is maximum walking distance from restaurants, cafes, and any other activities in Henningsvaer, 20-25 min walk to anything you want to do in the village. The bedrooms are barely big enough to fit the beds, there is nowhere to store clothes, we had to use the second bedroom just for that. Baths are ludicrously small, barely functional, everything gets wet. Finally, we stayed 4 nights in early August. The side of the apartment faces south and it REALLY heated up in the sunlight - inside the tiny bedroom was 28C (82F) before going to bed, when it warmed up further. You had to choose: open a window and sleep with daylight streaming in or swelter. I don't know how to solve this last part other than A/C, which I agree seems a terrible suggestion above the arctic circle.
