Seaside Apartment opposite Seapoint Promenade.

Great location right on the promenade. An easy walk to many shops and restaurants and very close to the V&A Waterfront

The property description said that there was off street parking but when we collected the keys were advised that we had to park in the street.

The location was stunning, it was the perfect place, central to everything we planned to do. The apartment was very spacious which I loved. It is also well furnished and maintained. Waking up and sleeping to the sound of the ocean really offered an immersive experience.

The issue of cockroaches, I would suggest regular fumigation to prevent that. We returned late on some evenings so it was not a beautiful sight to see walking in. But other than that and the construction obstructing our view, it was a beautiful stay! Luckily we were not around for most of the morning and afternoon to experience the construction noise.

The place is beautiful inside, with stunning views. The entire building itself is not as well kept as the apartment, but the apartment made up for it.

The shower is quite small and not easy to get into if you are not a certain size. There is currently refurbishing taking place that absolutely ruined the balcony views and I would not have booked had it been made clear on the app.

It was clean

I was not informed by booking.com that renovations and maintenance is currently being done on this block. A large scaffold in direct eyesight was build in front of the building and contractor were working straight in front of is when we arrived, The scaffold blocked the view and made our stay unpleasant. It is unacceptable that this info was not discloses,staff informed me that this structure was build 45 days earlier. The owners would have known about this and did not disclose. I waited one hour for the keys to check in, beware keys are not kept on the premises can be problematic Really dissapointing👎

The only issues we had were: No parking on site we had to park on the road The second shower and toilet is tiny especially for 2 rooms We also couldnt find the Bottle opener which Im sure was there somewhere.

I liked the spacious lounge and open kitchen and the colors.

Its located on one of the most used roads of capetown and the noise is unlivable! Even at night! Without mentioning holiday season… its a no go! There is no fans or aircon in the bedrooms therefore not being able to close the windows to blocknout the noisy streets. There is absolutely no parking neither on the property nor on the pavement or road infront of the appartment! This was a very big issue …. The area is also full of homeless people which doesnt make things happier. The company that organises the rentals also has very bad staff and service. We had big issues with their attitude and communication.
