Treetops Cottage at Treetops Hideouts

The cottage has everything you could possibly want. Such a cosy atmosphere the hosts have created.

There is nothing we didn't like. Maybe an information manual would be useful to confirm how to dispose of rubbish and look after the fire and hot tub and use the hive heating. We understood how to use it, but other people might struggle, so a guide could be helpful.

This beautifully located, exquisitely decorated and equipped cottage was absolutely perfect for the relaxing short break we were looking for. The hot tub was superb, along with the views.

There are no negatives from our perspective, everything, including the weather was exceptional.

The relaxing cottage home feel, neutral decor, lovely hot tub and BBQ. Nice quality bedding and a well equipped kitchen. A beautiful welcome hamper. Gorgeous fresh flowers.

The robe stained with fake tan! The lights were a little tricky to decipher. Flashing solar lights felt tacky. Our sat nav took us to broke lane, the cottage isn't on there. No plastic glasses for use outside/hot tub. A separate switch to be able to use the towel warmer would have been a useful amenity.

It’s a gorgeous little place, perfect for a weekend getaway - the location is amazing and meant that you could walk into town quickly or more scenically via the woods and river. The cottage itself is decorated beautifully, with touches like Bluetooth mirror and spongey carpets. The patio area is wonderful to sit out in, with stunning views - we stayed in the hot tub and watched the bats for hours. We received a little welcome hamper upon arrival too, which was a lovely little treat. The host was friendly and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend that people stay. I’d love to come back!

I got absolutely ravaged by insects in the hot tub on the first night - I must have got 200 bites so I was super uncomfortable for the rest of the trip, which was a massive shame! My partner was fine though. Defo being repellent! The only other thing was that check out was really early on the Sunday - as we didn’t arrive until later on the Friday we ideally wanted to stay longer on the final day.

Beautiful location with views over the hills for miles. Cottage fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Close to Richmond for shops, eating out. The most amazing welcome basket and bread on arrival. Inside is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, outside is lovely for bbqs and the hot rub is huge, excellent for 2 people to relax in. The most amazing stay, we wish we had booked longer.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The cottage had everything you need with towels, robes, slippers and full kitchen, the welcome basket was a lovely touch with the essentials. Close to Richmond town centre with lots of cafes and pubs, a lot of which are dog friendly. The cottage is close to so many amazing walks (The AllTrails app has lots of guided walks close by to choose from). Private patio and hot tub with views over the countryside made for a cozy evening after a busy day of walking.

Nothing not to like the property and hosts were great. Was nice to know the hosts were on hand if I needed anything.

Everything was perfect!

Tastefully newly refurbished property. Very clean, with utilities you need apart from a washing machine. Secluded private hot tub with lovely view. Suitable for couples. Enclosed outdoor area with bbq.

Near a main road which was noisy at times. Owners only allow one dog and presently charge £10 a night for the dog which is more that other properties we have stayed at. Property isn’t really dog proof, with light coloured carpets, which if the dog was wet might have been an issue.
