São Vicente itself is a beautiful place.

The price-performance ratio was very poor. After the second night we left the apartment earlier as planned because we didn't feel comfortable at all. After every shower and hand washing the apartment (especially the kitchen) smelled of gas. The bed was in very poor condition and creaked with every movement. The rooms were very dusty which caused eye irritation and a runny nose. When we informed the owner of the not insignificant shortcomings he did not take a proper stance (he was beating about the bush) and there was no refund, even though we left the apartment 3 nights earlier than planned and communicated the shortcomings in good time. Due to the lack of safety and hygiene, this apartment cannot be recommended under any circumstances.

The location is good - we needed banking services, consultations with builders and an architect, a very charming and lovely town, the sound of bells, a beautiful church, and delicious food in restaurants - all of this was close and convenient. The apartment is spacious with three separate bedrooms, sufficient kitchen equipment, two bathrooms. The apartment had everything necessary, including familiar equipment and appliances, except for a vacuum cleaner :) - at home, clothes were packed in a suitcase using a vacuum cleaner in vacuum bags, so we had to improvise :). So a vacuum cleaner would have been great, but we managed with a hairdryer :)

Uncomfortable pillows, noise from outside - a bus stop on one side, noise from the cafe around 7:40 AM, the mixer in the shower (the separate one) doesn't work, making it impossible to take a shower - it's either nearly boiling or icy water (the sink mixer works fine.

Nice and spacious apartment with a beautiful view! The place lies in Sao Vincente and is central to all the famous northern parts of the island.

Nothing to complain about.

Large apartment, comfortable beds, excellent kitchen equipment, free and available parking.
