Stay Yorkshire City Centre Apartments

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The location is good for getting trams and buses. On arrival the apartment was warm and welcoming and smelt lovely. There is ample space in all the rooms, and the sofa bed which we had asked to be made up, was a good size.

Our only problem was that we couldn't park the car in the carpark due to no spaces available and had to use the NCP carpark opposite. We encountered some very unsavoury characters sitting in the stairwells.

lovely clean appartment, bit of a mix up with collecting the keys as the appartment was reallocated and we did not receive an email to tell us this. However when we rang the proprietor this was quickly sorted.

Parking is a little tight! But good to have a parking space.

Soothing interior design, good room sizes, storage wardrobes, enough towels, extra bedding provided, kitchen facilities including dishwasher and dishwasher tabs, hairdryer and iron, recycling bins in ground floor, great hand washing liquids, good location, etc.

Outside the apartment, the common corridor after exiting the elevator looks a bit dirty. There's no microwave (but we managed well with pots & pans provided). Body wash/soap was not found at the shower, but later on in kitchen cabinets before leaving.

The blinds in the bedrooms are terrible - these could easily be changed to curtains to block out the light.

Really convenient location, very handy for getting into the city centre on foot. Easy, safe and secure access to apartment. Helpful host, excellent communication. Would stay again.

Kitchen Equipt.

Poor accommodation, mattresses lumpy, furniture is aging for example bedroom side cabinets not closing, living room coffee table collapsing. Shower room is aged, the shower is broken and we will get one hot shower at most. Shower leaked during stay contacted host - stated they would attend to have a look, they didn't. On getting back in the evening bedroom one water logged, shower dripping, could not use the bathroom for a shower on return or second day. Contacted hosts again without response. The accommodation block felt quite unsafe in the evening, large groups hanging about, strong smell of cannabis outside the property and the lifts. TV free view displays error when trying to use Netflix or any player i,e ITV X. I am not one to complain but did not enjoy this stay at all. Fridge needs a good clean out. Advised owner of leak (looks like it has occured before), no contact at all today to follow up.
